Kingston Council noted a major housing development at the old Gas Holder Station in Motspur Park. The plan involves demolishing the gas holders and building 5 blocks (8-16 storeys) with 586 homes, including 175 affordable homes.
Planning permission approved to demolish the vacant Hobkirk House care home on Blagdon Road and build a new 4-5 storey block with 36 homes. The previous application was refused but this revised version removes the basement parking.
